My kids LOVE this! In fact they love it enough to actually eat eggs - which they don't really like.
Put some diced onion and sliced mushrooms in a coffee mug. Microwave for 30 seconds.
Crack 2 eggs into the coffee mug. Add a splash of milk and shredded cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds more. Let stand 30 seconds.
OK... so this is microwave cooking which I wouldn't normally endorse. But I love that my kids can make a quick breakfast for themselves that doesn't involve a sugary cereal or maple syrup. Maybe one day they'll be so self sufficient that I'll get to sleep in ;)
