Does your dirt pass the test?

Here's a really cool service offered in Georgia: you can take your garden or lawn dirt into the local county extension office of The University of Georgia and they will test it. You just dig up some dirt in a couple of spots, mix it together and take a sample into the office. A couple of days later you'll receive an email with the findings. Not only will they tell you the results, but they'll tell you how to remedy any imbalances!! Expert help for $6 a sample. Kitchen gardens just got a heck of a lot more productive... well I hope our does at least :-) So if you're in Georgia, now is a great time to get a jump on this year!!
