Last year was St. Sebastian who helped us in many ways. We used this random saint generator to select our saint. That might seem weird - trusting a random generator - but I think it's perfect! We trust that whatever saint we receive will lead us by the example of their life story to a closer relationship with God. Every saint is extraordinary by definition. Mine was St Afra! Even though I am Methodist..that was kind of fun. (Patron saint of converts, martyrs and penitent women...)
Bwah ha ha... patron saint of penitent women... hope this isn't a foreshadowing of our year as one another's Barney Fife!!
